Bella's Italian Bakery "Cicchetti"

Saturday, April 25th | 6pm

We’re welcoming Michelle Vernier of Bella’s Italian Bakery to the OG Crick for the first time. A longtime friend of the Crick, Michelle brings over 30 years of experience and a deep connection to her family’s Italian roots. Bella’s has become a well known Southeast Portland staple, built on great food and genuine hospitality. That same spirit is what she’s bringing into the room with us for the night.

Cicchetti, for those new to it, is the Italian answer to tapas. Small bites meant to be shared, passed, and enjoyed over time. It’s less about sitting down for a formal meal and more about moving, tasting, and finding your rhythm as the night unfolds.

This evening is built around paired tasting tables. You’ll move through the space at your own pace, stopping for bites and pours along the way. Each guest will receive six wine tastes instead of a traditional glass, with the option to purchase additional pours throughout the night. There will also be a grazing table with warm and more substantial bites available as you move through the experience. This is casual, social, and meant to be enjoyed without overthinking it. Pull up, find your lane, and settle in.

Paired Tasting Menu
Meatballs agro dolce (sweet and sour)
Fried polenta with a little surprise
Oregon bay shrimp, Venetian style
Potato and fontina pizza
Hot flatbreads with stracchino cheese and ham
Tiramisu

Paired tasting tables will feature curated bites alongside wine selections, with additional grazing available throughout the evening, with classics like antipasta, crostini, & small sandwiches.
